TAA Compliance Explained

Most of Orion Power Systems products are either Made in USA or TAA compliant.  If you sell to the US Government this is a requirement and in many cases companies that sell non-compliant products into US Government sites may have them returned for credit at the sellers expense.

TAA Compliance is not just a US Government mandate – it is the right thing to do.  That is why Orion Power Systems makes every effort to provide Made in USA or TAA compliant products whenever possible.

TAA compliance refers to sourcing products from Trade Agreement countries, these include World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement Countries; Free Trade Agreement Countries; Least Developed Countries; and Caribbean Basin Countries.

In essence, these are friendly countries that promote fair trade with the USA or are least developed countries that benefit from US Trade.   Countries such as China, Russia, and Iran are not TAA compliant.

Orion Power Systems designs, manufactures,  and tests products in our Jacksonville, FL factory.  Many of our products are also manufactured in Taiwan for TAA compliance.  The cost to supply TAA compliant product is typically 10% or less than non-compliant product and promotes fair trade and US jobs.
